This month I was honored to participate in the 2022 MIT Reality Hack. I’ll do a post on the event soon, but this post is about the workshop I gave titled “Neural Networks Demystified”.
While I’m incredibly proud to be able to say “I gave a lecture at MIT”, this talk isn’t for everyone. 😁 Slide 2 can help you decide if the talk is right for you:
Basically, if you’re already writing DNNs it’s probably not a fit. But if you’re in other areas of CompSci where neural networks seem weird or even magical, it’s probably worth your time. I cover what neural networks are and how they work without writing any code. I use visuals, animations and videos to tell the story, then we finish with seeing how devices like HoloLens use neural networks to understand the world.
I hope you enjoy!
P.S. I apologize for the audio quality in some portions. This was recorded from a Zoom meeting.
